Terms of Service

The ground rules for making and sharing your space on Yee.

Last updated October 9, 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of Yee at yee.site, including the editor, dashboard and the sites you publish (on a yee.site address or your own domain), and how visitors use those sites. By creating an account or using Yee you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to create an account.

The operator is Yee Site (yee.site). References to “Yee”, “we” or “us” mean Yee Site.

2. Accounts and sign-in

You can sign up with email and password or with Google. Keep your details accurate and your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Do not share accounts, impersonate others or create accounts to evade limits or a suspension. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

You can delete your account at any time in Account → Danger zone. Deleting your account deletes your sites, posts, media, form submissions and analytics, and takes them offline. It does not cancel a paid subscription by itself until the deletion is processed; cancel in Billing first if you want to avoid a further renewal.

3. Plans and limits

Free: 1 site, 50 MB media storage, a yee.site address and Yee branding on your site. Pro: up to 3 sites, 1 GB media storage, custom domains, the option to remove Yee branding and other features marked Pro. Storage is counted per account across all uploaded media; deleting files frees space.

Limits are enforced technically. If a Pro subscription ends, your account returns to Free: sites above the Free limit are paused (taken offline, not deleted), custom domains stop serving your site, and new uploads are blocked while you are above the storage limit. Upgrading again restores them. We may set fair-use limits (for example on form submissions, uploads or requests) to protect the service.

4. Pricing, payment and renewal

Pro is billed yearly in USD. The launch price is $29 for the first year, after which the subscription renews at $49 per year unless you cancel. The launch price is limited-time and may end for new customers without notice; it does not affect a subscription already started. Applicable taxes (such as VAT) may be added and are shown at checkout.

Payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh), which acts as the merchant of record and reseller for Yee purchases. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Polar’s terms, and Polar issues the invoice and handles tax. Yee never sees or stores your full card details.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each yearly period and Polar charges your saved payment method. You can cancel any time in Account → Billing (Manage); Pro then stays active until the end of the paid period and does not renew. We will give reasonable advance notice of any change to the renewal price, and you can cancel before it applies.

5. Refunds and right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract. Because Pro is a digital service that starts immediately, at checkout you ask us to begin straight away and acknowledge that, once the service has been fully provided, the right of withdrawal is lost; if you withdraw within 14 days, you may be charged proportionately for the period used. To withdraw, contact us or Polar within 14 days of purchase.

Apart from this, the transition refund described below and any other right you have by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not give partial refunds for unused time after cancellation. Refunds, where granted, are made through Polar to the original payment method.

6. Selling with Yee Shop

On Pro you can sell digital products from your site by connecting your own Polar account (polar.sh). Each site connects to its own Polar organisation. When a visitor clicks Buy, they leave Yee and complete payment on Polar’s hosted checkout. Polar is the merchant of record: it sells the product to the buyer, collects the payment, calculates and remits sales tax and VAT, issues the receipt and handles refunds, chargebacks and payouts to you under Polar’s own terms, which you accept when you connect your account.

Yee is not a party to the sale and does not handle money. No payment passes through Yee, Yee holds no funds and has no bank account receiving your sales, and Yee cannot see or store buyers’ card or bank details. Yee only provides the product pages, the link to checkout, the delivery page and the dashboard that reads your orders from Polar.

Fees. Yee takes 0% of your sales. Polar charges its own transaction fee, currently 5% + 50¢ per transaction on its free Starter plan (lower on paid Polar plans), plus any payout or currency-conversion costs Polar applies. Polar sets and may change these fees; see polar.sh/resources/pricing for current pricing.

You are responsible for your products, descriptions, prices, delivered files and content, for having the rights to sell them, for any obligations toward buyers that Polar does not take over, and for complying with Polar’s acceptable-use rules. Yee is not responsible for Polar’s availability, decisions to block or refund payments, payout timing or account reviews. If Pro ends, your products are hidden from your site but not deleted, and nothing is archived in Polar.

You may not use Yee Shop, paid links, bookings or forms to sell or give access to anything prohibited in section 9, including adult content and gambling products or services. Polar's own acceptable use policy also applies to your sales.

7. Addresses, handles and custom domains

Each site gets an address such as handle.yee.site. Handles are first come, first served; some names are reserved or blocked (for example brand, system or offensive names), and we may reclaim a handle that infringes others’ rights, impersonates someone or is inactive and misleading.

On Pro you can connect a domain you own. You remain responsible for registering, renewing and paying for the domain with your registrar and for setting the DNS records we show. Custom domains are served through our hosting provider Vercel, which issues the TLS (https) certificate automatically; yee.site addresses are served through Cloudflare. Once a custom domain is active, the yee.site address redirects to it. We are not responsible for registrar or DNS problems, and if Pro ends or the DNS records change, the domain stops serving your site.

8. Your content

You keep all rights to the text, images, links, posts and other material you add. You grant Yee a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, resize, cache, display and deliver that material only as needed to run and improve the service and to show your published site (including previews and social sharing images). This licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies in backups for a limited time or already shared by others.

Published sites and uploaded media are publicly accessible to anyone with the address. Password-protected sites and subpages restrict viewing but are not a substitute for secure storage of sensitive data.

9. Acceptable use and prohibited sites

You are responsible for everything on your Yee sites, including text, images, links, embeds, posts, products and forms.

You may not create or publish a Yee site, or use one to link to content or services, that:

  1. contains nudity, sexually explicit material, or links to or promotes adult content, adult subscription platforms, or escort or sexual services;
  2. promotes, links to or facilitates real-money gambling, including online casinos, crypto casinos, sports betting, poker, lotteries, sweepstakes casinos and skin gambling, or contains gambling affiliate links, bonus codes, reviews or directories;
  3. consists mainly of affiliate or referral links with little original content;
  4. sells or promotes drugs, weapons, tobacco or vape products, prescription medicines, counterfeit goods, unlicensed financial or investment services, or get-rich-quick schemes;
  5. impersonates or falsely suggests affiliation with another person, company or government entity;
  6. deceives, manipulates, defrauds or misleads visitors, including phishing, scams and malware;
  7. is defamatory, harassing, hateful, threatening or promotes violence;
  8. infringes intellectual property, privacy or other rights of third parties;
  9. sends spam, fakes engagement, reviews or sales, scrapes or overloads the service, or bypasses limits, payments or access controls;
  10. contains or links to any content that sexualizes minors, or intimate images of a person shared without their consent, including images made or altered with AI; or
  11. is illegal under the laws that apply to you, to Yee or to your visitors.

Fantasy sports and free games with no real-money prizes are not gambling under (b). Sections (b) and (c) do not apply to password-protected pages used only for personal reference and not shared publicly. This exception does not permit content prohibited by the other provisions of this section or by applicable law, and does not override the sales restrictions in section 6 or Polar’s acceptable-use policy.

Reporting. To report a site, contact us with its address and the reason. We review reports promptly.

Enforcement. Subject to the transition arrangements below, we may remove content, unpublish a site, or suspend or terminate an account that breaks this section, at any time and, where the breach is serious, without prior notice. We will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it. If you think we got it wrong, reply to our message or contact us and we will review the decision. Content under (j) is removed immediately, the account is closed, and we report it to the authorities where the law requires.

10. Site settings you control

In site Settings you decide the site name, address, language, SEO title and description, social image, favicon, password protection, Yee branding (Pro), whether search engines and AI search tools may index the site, whether AI training crawlers are allowed, search-engine verification codes, Google Analytics, a visitor consent banner and custom code in the page head and body. These choices are signals and tools; for example, robots.txt rules are respected by well-behaved crawlers but cannot force every third party to comply.

Code, scripts and analytics you add run under your responsibility. If you add Google Analytics, other tracking tools or forms, you are the controller of that data and must provide your own privacy notice and obtain consent where the law requires it (for example by enabling the consent banner for visitors in the EU/EEA or UK).

11. Forms, bookings and embeds

If you collect contact messages, newsletter sign-ups or booking requests, you are responsible for how you use them, for having a lawful basis and for any marketing consent. A contact submission is not automatically consent to marketing. Yee stores and shows supported submissions to you as described in our Data Processing Agreement. If you turn on email notifications, Yee sends transactional alerts to you and confirmations to the visitor or buyer from yee.site, through our email provider Resend; you can switch each one off in Settings → Notifications. Embedded content (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Spotify, maps and others) and external links are provided by third parties under their own terms; Yee does not control or endorse them.

12. Availability and changes

We work to keep Yee available and secure but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, or that third-party services (Lovable, Supabase, Google, Polar, Resend, Cloudflare, Vercel, Cal.com, embeds) will always work. We may change or discontinue features; we will give reasonable notice of material changes that reduce a paid feature, and if we discontinue Pro entirely we will refund the unused part of a prepaid period.

13. Liability

Yee is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or data loss caused by your content, your domain or third-party services. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Yee in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent, gross negligence, or death or personal injury, and they do not affect your statutory consumer rights.

You agree to compensate us for third-party claims arising from content you publish or from your breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.

14. Termination

You can stop using Yee and delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend your access for serious or repeated breaches, legal requirements or non-payment. If we terminate without cause, we refund the unused part of a prepaid Pro period.

If we terminate your account for a serious or repeated breach of section 9, you are not entitled to a refund of any prepaid period, except where the law requires it or the transition refund below applies.

Transition for existing users and sites

The new restrictions in section 9 (a) to (c) apply to users who register on or after publication of this update from their registration date. For existing users and their sites, including draft sites, they apply no earlier than November 8, 2026 and only after at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the app. If notice is given later than October 9, 2026, the effective date is postponed accordingly. Creating or publishing another site does not shorten an existing user’s notice period.

During that notice period, owners can remove the affected content or move it elsewhere. Pro customers who would rather leave because of this change can contact us during the notice period to request a refund of their current paid Pro period, processed through Polar. This exception takes precedence over the general no-refund rule. The notice period does not permit content already prohibited by the previous terms or applicable law.

15. Governing law and changes to these terms

These terms are governed by applicable law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring claims in your local courts. EU consumers may also use their national consumer dispute bodies.

We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect; if you disagree, you can cancel before then. Continuing to use Yee after that means you accept the updated terms.
