Protect a page with a password

Limit access to the whole site or to an individual subpage.

Step by step

For the whole site, open Settings and find the password protection controls.

For one subpage, open that page's settings in Dashboard → Pages and set its password there.

Save the password and test the public address in a private browser window.

Share both the URL and password only with the people who should have access.

A password is not a substitute for secure storage of sensitive documents. Forgotten passwords cannot be recovered; set a new one instead.
