Create and manage post categories
Categories organize your posts and give each group its own address.
Step by step

Open Dashboard → Posts and choose New category.

Type a name and confirm. The URL slug is created from the name.

Select a category in the list to see its posts and its live and draft counts.

Use the category's menu to rename or delete it.
Good to know
Deleting a category permanently deletes every post in it, including drafts. Category names must be unique within a site.
